Michael was invited, by his science teacher Mr. Gunner, to attend a Boy Scout "High Adventure" with a troop from Carlsbad. They went to Yosemite National Park, where they repelled into the Moaning Caverns and hiked Half Dome Peak. He had an amazing adventure and made many new friends and awesome memories!!
Approx. 4700 ft. Approx. 17 mile hike Approx. 1 foot wide Approx. 165 ft. down Approximate JOY!!

The challenges in life, in general and motherhood, specifically can be compared to alligator wrestling. The feat is arduous and sometimes painful. I always wish for, at least one other hand. When, or if, I survive the ordeal, it will have been well won and my greatest achievement. I will most assuredly come out of the pit muddy, bruised, exhausted and above all beaming with pride at my successes. It will all be well worth the fight!!
Domestic goddess, mother of four, wife to active duty Marine, sister to five, housekeeper, laundress, taxi driver, personal assistant, teacher, accountant, gardener, cheerleader, barber, party planner and chef...EXTRAORDINAIRE!!
